I offer a compassionate, supportive, and a caring approach, and clients tell me that I have a natural ability to help make them feel comfortable, safe and relaxed, which really helps with the process of talking through your problems.

I have extensive knowledge and experience on providing Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and specialises in common mental health problems, such as: anxiety, depression, addictions, and trauma etc. I have significant experience working in NHS secondary mental healthcare services with Complex Care Mental Health and Community Mental Health Treatment Team.

I have a particular interest in working with clients experiencing Anxiety and Depression, Low Self-esteem/ or lacking confidence, Alcohol and Drug Misuse, and other forms of Addictions, Gambling, Eating Disorders, supporting clients with employment/work problems, and student mental health problems.

Over the last 12 years I have been building my own private CBT Practice and successfully working with a diverse range of different clients experiencing anxiety, depression and emotional distress, helping reduce their psychological symptoms, achieve change, and move beyond their problems.

I am able to offer clients the opportunity to integrate other evidence based models of psychotherapy within CBT dependent on your current difficulties. These can include: Schema Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion Focused Therapy.

I have supported supports country’s leading anxiety disorders charity, Anxiety UK, over the last 15 years and been an approved Anxiety UK approved therapist.

For the last 15 years I have been an approved CBT therapist with the country’s leading anxiety disorders organisation, Anxiety UK. I have extensive clinical experience of working with adult anxiety disorders, mood problems, and substance misuse.

I have extensive experience working in primary and secondary mental health services.

I have over twenty-five years clinical practice experience working within mental health services in the NHS and third sector, particularly within primary and secondary mental healthcare settings working with anxiety, mood and alcohol problems, which is a specialist area of interest and practice.

I am able to offer clients the opportunity to integrate other evidence-based models of psychotherapy within CBT, dependent on your current difficulties. These can include: Schema Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Compassion Focussed Therapy (CFT).
